5th Grade students are creating a large pumpkin patch for Autumn. It's their first time using chalk pastels, a bit messy for sure but they are doing a beautiful job of capturing the colors of pumpkins.
2nd grade students enjoyed studying the beautiful work of Vincent Van Gogh and his famous painting of Sunflowers. His work inspired them to create their own mini masterpieces of bright sunflowers.
Students from both Mrs. Basso and Mrs. Woltjes's classes participated in creating a large mural for Unity Week. Students learned about the famous artist Keith Haring and how his artwork spread peace through out his community.
This is my first year ever being a Yearbook Coordinator and boy has it been tough work! But thanks to these awesome 5th graders, the 2013 Hobart Yearbook is almost completed.
